Stay Safe During Haze

Church, as we navigate through the current haze situation in Singapore, your health and safety are our top priorities.

We are closely monitoring the air quality and advisories from the relevant authorities, and have measures in place to safeguard your well-being as you attend our Sunday services and church activities.

Measures We Are Taking

  • Adjustments to church activities: We are closely monitoring the haze situation and will make necessary adjustments to our services and activities in line with prevailing conditions and national health advisories to safeguard the health and well-being of our congregation, particularly vulnerable groups.
  • Rock Kidz classes: Our Rock Kidz classrooms are equipped with air purifiers. At The Star, children will also be dismissed indoors when the 24-hour PSI exceeds 100 as an added precaution.‍

How You Can Stay Safe

As you join us for our services and activities, here are some precautions you can take:

  • Limit outdoor activities: Reduce or avoid prolonged or strenuous outdoor activities depending on the prevailing air quality. Greater care should be taken for vulnerable groups, including the elderly, children, pregnant women and those with chronic lung or heart conditions.
  • Take care of your health: Stay well hydrated and keep any prescribed medication readily available. If you feel unwell due to the haze, please seek medical attention.
  • Stay informed: Refer to the latest PSI and PM2.5 readings and health advisories for guidance. We will also provide updates on any changes to our church activities where necessary.

Church, let's continue to pray for the Lord's protection over everyone and for the haze situation to be alleviated. Stay safe and take care!
