At New Creation Church, we uphold a leadership culture that is Christ-centred, Spirit-led, grace-based and people-focused—anchored in God’s holy Word. Our leaders are called not only to serve with humility and compassion, but also to walk in integrity, accountability and excellence. We believe that every leader is entrusted with a sacred responsibility: to care for the Lord’s flock, lead by example, and uphold a standard of conduct that glorifies our Lord Jesus. Leadership is not about position, but about posture—a heart and life that honour the Lord—and we are committed to building His church and serving all for His greatest glory.
Being Established In God's Word & Righteousness
Our church life and ministry are built on the sure foundation of the finished work and the gospel of Christ. As we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18)—through personal feeding of His Word, equipping, and leadership sessions—we seek to be rooted in His love, grounded in His righteousness, led by His Spirit, and skilled in rightly dividing the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15), so we can lead with greater effectiveness and anointing.
Upholding A Standard Of Conduct That Glorifies God
We regard leadership to be both a privilege and a calling from God. As such, we seek to uphold a standard of conduct so that we may be above reproach and live victorious lives that glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16, Romans 5:17, and Romans 6:14). This includes conducting all our affairs with honesty and integrity, fleeing sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and observing appropriate boundaries—such as not counselling the opposite gender behind closed doors or sending them home alone.
These boundaries have been in place for decades in our church and reflect a time-honoured commitment to holiness, accountability, and wisdom in leadership. They are long-standing practices rooted in our desire to honour God, raise leaders of integrity, and safeguard the well-being of His people.
Shepherding With A Heart Of Servant-Leadership
The Bible says that our Lord Jesus came not to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45), and He is the good shepherd who gave His life for His sheep (John 10:11). We desire to follow His example by serving, feeding, tending and caring for His flock with humility and honour, while walking in alignment with the vision, mission, and core values of our church.

Supporting & Strengthening One Another In Love
We love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). God has placed us in a loving community and surrounded us with Christ-minded counsellors who speak into our lives (Proverbs 11:14). Here, we can find godly counsel, support one another, grow together and foster a culture of accountability and openness to correction (Proverbs 3:11–12), so that we can walk worthy of our calling, build each other up, and edify the body of Christ.
Creating A Safe Environment To Encounter Jesus
We believe in God’s promises of protection found in Psalm 91, and therefore, the church should be a place of refuge and safety. We endeavour to lead with boldness, wisdom, and discernment to guard and protect God’s flock. Our desire and commitment is to create a safe environment where all—especially children, young persons, and the vulnerable—can freely worship Jesus and be kept secure and safe from harm.
