Testimonies

On August 2020, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism after being admitted to the emergency room for a panic attack. According to the doctors, my thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) level was extremely high. A normal TSH level is between 0.5 to 4, but mine was at 9. Subsequently, I sought treatment from a specialist and was prescribed some medication which I was told that most patients would have to take for life.

I was disheartened when the doctor explained the symptoms of my condition which included chronic fatigue, poor memory, weight gain, anxiety, and depression. He also shared that having a TSH level of 9 meant that it would be nine times more challenging for me to lose weight as compared to a normal person.

At that point in time, I had not received Jesus as my Saviour. So, my mum encouraged me to tune in to Pastor Prince's sermons. Though I found peace during the sermons, I still found myself struggling with the symptoms. I ended up seeing a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and depression. In November 2020, I was admitted to the emergency room again due to hyperventilation.

That day, I decided to seek help from God by loading up a sermon video by Pastor Prince. I was eventually discharged as my blood tests came out fine. From then on, I was convinced that God was telling me there is nothing wrong with my health. The very next day, when I was alone and had the feeling of falling into another panic attack, a voice told me, "You cannot break this panic attack cycle by yourself. Let God fight this battle for you." From that moment, I decided to receive Jesus as my Saviour and began listening to sermons every Sunday and partake of the holy Communion daily. The more I listened to Pastor Prince's sermons, the more I am assured that I can cast my worries on God and let Him fight my battles.

Two months later, I went back for a check-up and discovered that my TSH level had dropped. But I still had issues with my weight which the doctor suspected was due to some hormonal complications. So, I was sent for another blood test. Despite hearing all that, I believed that I was already healed, and continued to partake of the holy Communion and feed on God’s Word.

On 8 April 2021, I went for the follow-up, and my TSH level dropped further down to 2! The blood test report also confirmed that my hormones were perfectly fine too! But most importantly, for the first time in years, I lost weight! Hallelujah!

About 10 years ago, I had a mid–career change of jobs. I was apprehensive and prayed for wisdom to make the right decision. Finally, after much prayer, I received a word from the Lord regarding 1 Thessalonians 5:24, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it”. Believing that the Lord is faithful, I sent out my application and it was accepted against all odds as most of the other applicants were all former heads of departments. I was grateful to the Lord for this unmerited favour.

After a year on the job, I pursued a Master’s Degree programme as I felt rather inadequate with my existing skills. It was a big step as I had graduated 20 years ago and much had changed. I had a tough time and prayed fervently for supernatural favour as I struggled to juggle my family, job and studies. Fortunately, I am blessed with a supportive spouse who prayed and helped me through this time. I prayed for grace to master the IT skills that I needed to retrieve materials such as research papers and journals.

I also prayed that I would pass and not get thrown out in the middle of the programme. To my amazement, I passed with high distinctions and was the top student. I knew that this had nothing to do with my own efforts. It was the work of our mighty God, who never fails when we throw ourselves at His feet and depend totally on Him.

In spite of these successes, I faced many challenges at my workplace which made me question my decision to switch jobs. I cried out to the Lord and read Psalm 91:15, “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him.” At that time, I found it hard to believe the promise in that verse as I was very distressed.

Soon after, a friend told me that she was resigning from her job and asked if I wanted to be transferred there as she was doing the same job as myself. It was a refreshing change and I thanked God for it.

In my new workplace, God blessed me tremendously as I continued to rely on Him daily. The job was emotionally draining and I often felt like giving up because I saw little success in what I was doing. But the Lord lifted me up with an unexpected blessing when I was given the Excellence Service Award in the department. And recently, I could barely contain my gratitude to my heavenly Father when I received the PS21 Service Excellence Award and PS21 Distinguished Service Award. I know that none of this was based on my self–efforts, but it was the result of God’s unmerited favour and grace that Pastor Prince has been preaching about!

4 April 2021 Online Service: Ministering Testimony

For three days prior to Resurrection Sunday, I had been suffering from a pain on the left side of my stomach. I had tried all kinds of methods to get rid of the pain, but nothing worked.

During the service, the pain was still there. Towards the end of the sermon, when Pastor Prince started ministering, I decided to trust the Lord for my healing.

Praise the Lord. The pain in my stomach was gone! I was healed instantly! Hallelujah!

What a wonderful Jesus we have. Thank you, Pastor Prince and New Creation Church!

11 April 2021 Online Service: Ministering Testimony

I had a pain in my left hip that was intensifying over the past few months. The pain was constantly and persistently with me.

On 28 February 2021, Pastor Prince spoke a word of knowledge about my condition. I stood up and received the healing for myself. He also mentioned that our youth would be renewed like the eagle’s. I am already in my seventies, and really needed to hear that!

The next morning when I woke up, I realised that the pain in my left hip was gone! The Lord Jesus has healed me completely. If not for the Lord’s healing, I would probably not be able to walk in the near future. Praise the Lord!

11 April 2021 Online Service: Ministering Testimony

Since the middle of 2019, I had been having abdominal pain once every few months. In September 2020, I went for an ultrasound and I was found to have four gallstones in my gallbladder.

The doctor immediately recommended that I undergo keyhole surgery to remove them. As I didn't want to have surgery, I asked if there were other options and I was told that the alternative would be for me to be on medication for a few years. However, that would not guarantee that the gallstones would go away.

Finally, I told my doctor that I would try controlling my diet and stop eating oily food to avoid a flare-up. However, a couple of months later, I went for a holiday and ended up eating some oily food which triggered my abdominal pain. I went back to my doctor and he insisted that I undergo surgery.

The next day, on 22 November 2020, I tuned in to New Creation Church Online and towards the end of the sermon, Pastor Prince said that someone had recently been diagnosed with gallstones and God was healing the person.

I believed that Pastor Prince was speaking about me and God wanted to heal me. So, I claimed that healing. For the next few days, I started to feel different and all my past symptoms disappeared.

I requested to go for another ultrasound and was scheduled to do so in March 2021.

During this time, I patiently waited and gave thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ every night believing that He has healed me.

On 8 March 2021, I went for the ultrasound and the report came back saying that my gallbladder is all clear! According to the radiologist, my gallbladder is normal with no gallstones! Praise God for completely healing my gallbladder. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching the message of grace!
