Earlier this year, I received great news that my relative’s wife was pregnant. It was her second pregnancy. During her first pregnancy, her unborn child had been diagnosed with an infectious disease.

In March this year, I received a call from my relative, telling me that a parasite infection had infected his wife, and might affect the baby.

My relatives were devastated by the news, and sought help and comfort. They were not believers, but I believed and trusted that the Lord would help them.

I shared with my relative about my personal encounter with God and suggested praying together. He was so willing to listen, and I proceeded to teach him how to pray. I also shared with one of our church pastors on a Sunday, and he prayed with me for my relatives’ well-being.

A month later, my relatives called and said that the medical review showed that the infection was gone! God is so good. Their baby boy was born in September and both mother and child are well. I thank God for answering our prayers. I am in awe of His love—a love that reaches even those who don’t believe.

When I was a design student in my final year, a graduation showcase was launched for the graduating cohort to showcase their works to potential employers. I put up my works but did not attend it myself.

On the last day of the showcase, as I was clearing up, I saw a few namecards placed on my table. I did not contact any of them, thinking that it probably meant nothing.

I then went for a vacation and during that time, I received two emails from potential employers. One of them was keen to meet me after seeing my works at the showcase and the other was a job offer from a position I had applied for earlier.

When my lecturer heard the news, he told me to be happy if I was offered a certain amount. But I believed the Lord for more. Amazingly, I was offered more than what my lecturer, or even I, could imagine.

Subsequently, I received two more offers without the need for interviews from employers who had seen my works at the graduation showcase. I was blessed with options and eventually settled on a regional role that was not normally given to someone my age.

Through this experience, the Lord showed me how He can open doors no man can shut. His grace is always superabounding!

A year ago, my wife and I started preparing for our wedding. There were several challenges we faced. We had no savings. We wanted to hold a church wedding. However, my wife’s parents were not believers. In addition, we wanted to stay in our own home as soon as we could after the wedding, but applying for a new flat under the Build-To-Order scheme meant we had to queue and wait.

One of our prayer requests for 2019 was for the Lord to supply and cover the costs of our wedding. I believed that if the Lord had placed the desire in us to get married, then He would also supply all our needs.

Sure enough, we saw the Lord’s hand of provision in the months that followed. We were going to settle for a small, simple church ceremony, but God opened the door for us to have our wedding at a larger venue. We were not too sure about it at first as it was more costly. However, we held on to Pastor Prince’s teachings to constantly declare God’s word and trust in the Lord!

Every time when a payment was due, I’d either receive a promotion, salary increment, or increased commissions. My wife also received a promotion. These timely provisions helped with our wedding payments. We were also blessed with extra finances to attend an overseas Christian conference.

The Lord even provided my wife with a beautiful and affordable dress that fitted perfectly.

Additionally, my wife’s parents readily accepted our decision of a church wedding. We also got our home in the middle of the year under a special programme at a convenient location and were able to move in at the end of the year.

We tithe faithfully every month but we know that it is impossible to outgive God. He has blessed us with much more than we have asked for. All praise and glory to Him!

On Sunday, 6 October 2019, Pastor Lawrence Lim asked if anyone needed prayer for healing. I stood up as I had a right knee condition that was causing me pain. I also often felt uncomfortable when I had to stand up from a sitting position.

I felt the pain ease after the service as I walked up the stairs to exit the auditorium. I climbed each step with confidence, believing that I am well. Gradually, there was no more pain!

Praise the Lord! He is truly an awesome God.

I was brought up as a Christian but never really had a personal journey with the Lord. About two years ago, I found out that my husband had been unfaithful to me. What made matters worse was that I was five months pregnant with our second child. Subsequently, I moved out of our home with our firstborn.

For four months, we lived apart. I also left my job as I had been working for my husband. During this period, he started drinking heavily and it was as though he had become another person. I could not bring myself to trust him again, so I filed for divorce. I felt extremely devastated, lost, and helpless. And that was when I turned to the Lord.

I then heard a sermon by Pastor Prince on the Holy Communion and decided to partake of it every day. I also joined a care group and began speaking over my life and marriage.

One night, as the finalisation of our divorce loomed closer, I cried out to the Lord, telling Him to help my husband if it was His will for our marriage to be salvaged.

The very next morning, I received a call that my husband was caught driving under the influence of alcohol. The amazing part was that though he was drunk, he felt led to drive towards a roadblock and surrender.

After that incident, things started changing for us. My husband stopped drinking and we began living together again. The Lord also gave me an enjoyable job with a pay raise. My husband and I also called off the divorce!

Our marriage improved tremendously and I began praying for my husband’s walk with the Lord. Then, sometime last year, my husband chanced upon one of Pastor Prince’s sermons and began listening to him. Soon, he got hooked!

Today, my husband is serving in a ministry and we have a strong and happy marriage. We would pray and listen to Pastor Prince’s sermons together. In every area we’ve lost, the Lord has restored. Praise the Lord!
