Testimonies

I grew up without my mother, so my grandmother had to fill in the role as my mother. When she passed away, my life went downhill. Though I was already a believer, I stopped going to church. My family also had little time for me, and I lived a rebellious lifestyle. With little guidance, I got into bad company. At the age of 16, I was drinking almost every day, and smoking up to one and a half packets of cigarettes daily. I even got hooked on drugs for a period of time.

At the age of 21, I attempted suicide due to stress from a toxic relationship and many other things. This was the third time I tried to kill myself since I was 16. Needless to say, it was another unsuccessful attempt. I was admitted to the hospital and placed in the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) for a while.

The entire ordeal was a blur to me, but during that dark season, I remember crying in my room, and hearing a voice saying, “I Am”.

I did not know what that meant until a few months later, after I came back to New Creation Church and started attending services regularly. Through Pastor Prince’s teaching, I realised that God never left me, especially in my time of need. I believe that the voice I heard during my dark season was God telling me, “I am your provision, I am your salvation”, and most importantly, “I am here”.

Today, I am 23 years old and I am completely set free from the chains that had a hold of me. In fact, it was almost impossible for me to quit smoking, but after I prayed and asked God for deliverance on my birthday, my Abba Father answered my prayer. And when God gives, He gives in abundance.

My relationship with my family has been restored, and I am also blessed with a boyfriend who loves and cares for me. He even attends church with me and is now saved!

Praise the Lord for not giving up on me, and turning the darkest period of my life into a testimony. I am so grateful for God’s grace, and I look forward to hearing Pastor Prince’s sermons every week!

I had been suffering from a pain in my right heel bone for more than a month. Initially, I thought that the pain was due to my shoes and got them changed. However, even after that, the pain did not go away.

On 22 September 2019, I attended the first service at The Star Performing Arts Centre. Pastor Prince called out and prayed for those who were suffering from pain in their ankle. I believed that God was calling out my condition.

After that, there was no more pain in my heel and I was able to walk with ease. Praise the Lord!

I had been suffering from ringworm (a fungal infection on the skin that is highly contagious) on both my legs for more than a year. Even after trying various medications, praying, and rebuking the sickness, it did not go away. I was discouraged.

As I was praying one day, the Holy Spirit reminded me to see myself seated with Christ and made whole in Him through the cross.

Then, I was led to listen to a message online, titled When Life Doesn’t Make Sense by Pastor Joseph Prince. After hearing the message, I went to bed. In the middle of the night, I felt something leave my foot and I woke up suddenly. At that moment, I felt the Holy Spirit telling me that I’m healed.

Sure enough, the condition was gone and I am completely healed! I can now wear shorts and be out in the sun, play with my children and hug my wife. All glory to Jesus!

My parents divorced when I was young, and I grew up with severe trust issues. I first got saved at a Christian conference years ago. Over the years, my intimacy with God started to fade and I found myself tempted by many things.

I became addicted to porn, alcohol, and drugs. On top of that, I also had an eating disorder. I would try very hard to be right with God, but found myself falling into legalism and constant self-condemnation.

I believed I had committed the unpardonable sin, that God had cut me off and there was no way back. I became sick from the stress of it, suffered panic attacks and was in agony.

Then, the Lord led me to Pastor Prince’s sermons and I learnt what grace truly is. I also learnt that the heart of our heavenly Father is full of love and mercy. Pastor Prince’s messages ministered to my soul.

I am no longer addicted to porn, alcohol, and drugs; and I do not have an eating disorder! The desires for these things left when I learnt about the superabounding grace of God. I know that I am forgiven, cleansed, and restored by the precious blood of Jesus.

For the past five years, my family had been in debt. In one of Pastor Mark Ng’s sermons, he mentioned about letting the Holy Spirit guide us through our situations, including debt. That sermon resonated well with me, as it reminded me to rest and rely on Jesus’ finished work.

Since attending New Creation Church, I’ve caught the revelation of tithing and I tithe every month, despite my family’s debt. This year, I received a promotion and overachieved on my key performance indicators. I was also the top regional manager in my company and received a six-digit bonus.

Praise the Lord! I was able to clear off my family’s debt and have plenty left over. God has provided more than I could ask or imagine. Truly, our God is a God who multiplies the five loaves and two fish to feed many!
