After several unsuccessful fertility treatments and a pregnancy loss, Chrystella and Louis were devastated and heartbroken. Though they struggled with feelings of self-blame and helplessness, they held on to the Lord’s promise to them.Watch how the Lord turned their situation around as they kept their eyes on Him and trusted in His faithfulness.
My brother-in-law had a severe stroke and was sent to the hospital’s emergency department. He was weak and his right arm was stiff and subject to involuntary movements. He also suffered a speech impairment.
When my care group members rallied around us and prayed for him, he became better. Later that evening, he seemed weak again with the same symptoms and his doctor called for another scan.
At that time, I boldly proclaimed that there would be no death in my family. I flipped open Pastor Prince’s book, Eat Your Way To Life And Health, and landed on the page with a testimony of a stroke patient’s miraculous healing. I knew then, that God was there with us, caring for us.
That night, my brother-in-law slept through the night and was transferred to the normal ward the next morning. I visited him the following day, only to find him perfectly well, sitting down, with no apparent symptom of stroke. The doctor also told me that he was confident that my brother-in-law’s strength would return to him.
Through this episode, the goodness of God was experienced. My sister told me that she believed Jesus healed my brother-in-law when my care group members came together to pray for him. She has also started to listening to songs of worship and is receptive to Pastor Prince’s teachings
God’s got us in His mighty hands!
In August last year, I was terminated from my job due to a mistake that I made. I spiraled into depression, condemning myself for the mistake and blaming myself for losing my job.
During that season, I reminded myself that I am still the righteousness of God in Christ. I decided to use the free time to work on my own personal projects, which I did not have time for in the past. These projects also helped to build up my portfolio. I felt that this was a time of rest for me.
I started searching for a job in March this year. The Lord was faithful. I started receiving phone calls from headhunters the moment I started sending out my résumés.
At first, I was worried about how I was going to explain my termination to the interviewers. However, there was a peace within me as I answered the interview questions. Three weeks into my job search, I got a call for another interview.
The interview went smoothly, and I was offered the job that same week! Although the job is challenging at times, the Lord blessed me with helpful and supportive colleagues. I was even given the opportunity to be in charge of a project that would help boost the company’s productivity.
Despite me still being on probation, my boss wanted me to have the full benefits of a permanent staff. I also experienced favour with many in the company.
From being terminated in my previous company to having such a great job, the Lord has truly blessed me indeed.
At the beginning of April this year, I lost my job and was feeling hopeless as I searched for a new one.
With the lockdown that happened in India due to the COVID-19 situation, I tuned in to Pastor Prince’s messages through the church’s online services. I had previously avoided listening to Pastor Prince due to some misconceptions.
What started out as a casual hearing of the sermons turned into attentive listening, and even anticipation for Pastor Prince’s weekly messages. His messages about seeing God as my supplier brought freedom to me. My wife and my children also started to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Jesus.
Last Sunday, it was Pastor Lawrence Lim who preached. My faith was stirred up in me as I listened to his message. When Pastor Lawrence ended his sermon with a prayer for those who were unemployed, I lifted my hands and believed God for a job.
At that time, I had been out of job for more than two months. One week after that prayer, I received a job offer! The entire process was completed within a week. I was selected even though my age is 7 years above the usual age the company was looking to hire for that position. The human resource department also informed me that I was one of the two people selected out of 400 applicants.
Praise the Lord for what He’s doing in my life! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your wonderful sermons, and Pastor Lawrence, for the amazing word preached!
I grew up in church but was burnt out in my early teens. I dissociated myself from religion and anything to do with God. My life spiralled into darkness. I became addicted to drugs, alcohol, tobacco and pornography.
Eight years ago, I was led to Pastor Prince’s sermons. At first, I was turned off by the message he was preaching because I was so used to hearing about what I needed to do to climb the “spiritual ladder” of Christianity. His messages really went against the grain of what I knew and believed about the gospel. It seemed so easy and effortless.
But I kept on hearing his messages and started to confess my righteousness in Christ. At that time, I was still smoking cigarettes and would confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” even while I was smoking. At first, I smoked even more, but eventually the desire to smoke kept diminishing until it was completely gone!
I did the same thing with my addictions to pornography, drinking, and other destructive habits. At the beginning, it was so awkward and uncomfortable. But I didn’t care because I felt like I was at the end of my rope. Praise God, the fruit of right believing is astounding! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching this radical gospel of grace. Thank You, Jesus!
For quite some time, I had stopped reading the book, Unmerited Favor. But recently, I picked up the book again. I continued from where I left off and it happened to be where Pastor Prince wrote about how David defeated Goliath.
At that time, I was helping my son prepare for his exams and that chapter was like God speaking to me. All the while, my son had found the subject, Mathematics, the most difficult and just didn’t seem to do well. Needless to say, he had the least confidence in his Mathematics paper which was two days away.
After reading the chapter, I felt that my son was like David and his Mathematics paper, his “Goliath”. I believed that if my son were to declare that the Lord’s armies were with him, he would be able to conquer his “Goliath”.
That night, I was excited. I felt like God telling me that this would be a turning point for my son. There was no looking back and he would experience greater success in the days to come.
The next day, I woke up early and read the daily devotion by Pastor Prince. The devotion for that day was another account of David defeating Goliath! I immediately knew it was no coincidence. I believed that God was with my son and therefore, he would do well for his paper.
The night before my son’s exam, I shared with him the devotion I read and told him not to fear. I also encouraged him to call out to God if he had problems solving the questions.
After his paper the next day, my son did not tell me how he felt. But he told me that he did ask God for help when he was stuck during the exam.
When the results were out, out of the four subjects, my son scored the highest for Mathematics — his “Goliath”. All glory to Jesus!
My son did not expect it at all. Our Lord Jesus is really good; He made my son’s worst subject to be his best subject.
Now, I don’t hear my son say that he is no good or lousy in Mathematics. In fact, according to him, all the questions that he asked God for help, turned out to be correct. Indeed, our Lord Jesus is a shout away and as Jesus is, so is my son. With God with my son, he is indeed a successful boy.
