After several unsuccessful fertility treatments and a pregnancy loss, Chrystella and Louis were devastated and heartbroken. Though they struggled with feelings of self-blame and helplessness, they held on to the Lord’s promise to them.Watch how the Lord turned their situation around as they kept their eyes on Him and trusted in His faithfulness.
Three months ago, I tore my ligament on my left ankle while exercising. I only sought treatment after a month as the pain persisted. I could not take long walks or engage in high-impact exercises. My doctor was worried that the injury was caused by a bone condition and ordered a bone density test for me.
During a Sunday service, Pastor Prince invited those who were suffering from ankle injuries to stand and receive their healing. I stood up, but the pain did not go away immediately. I continued to pray and partake of the Holy Communion. Soon after, I noticed that the pain had subsided.
At my medical review a few days ago, the doctor confirmed that my ankle was healed! He was also surprised that my bone density result was normal. Praise the Lord for His healing and preservation of good health!
In the past, I never had the habit of going to church. But on Resurrection Sunday this year, a friend of mine invited me to join her for a service at New Creation Church. Since it’s the first time anyone had invited me to a service, I decided to say yes. The sermon Pastor Prince preached that day helped me to understand more about Jesus, and what He did for us.
Two weeks ago, I contacted my friend, asking to join her for service again. That Sunday, Pastor Prince preached about how Jesus never abandons us in our valley seasons, but carries us through them. The sermon resonated with me as I was going through a divorce and I had lost the passion for my job.
The sermon encouraged me to know that Jesus is always near for me and that He would restore double of what we have lost. After that service, whenever I feel lonely or fearful, I will picture Jesus being there with me.
On Friday, I received a new job offer which pays double of what I’m making now! I know that the Lord is rebuilding my life. Thank you, Pastor Prince!
Nine years ago, I was diagnosed with severe eczema. There was an outbreak on both my legs and pus could be seen on the wounds. The condition also caused me to have insomnia every night due to the itching.
Over the next six years, I tried all kinds of remedies but none of them worked. Once, I even spent hundreds of dollars to see a specialist and was given the strongest steroid cream to treat my condition. But even so, the doctors told me that there is no cure for my eczema, only prevention.
Hearing that, my hopes were crushed and I was extremely depressed as my legs used to be fair and smooth.
Since then, I completely changed my wardrobe and stopped wearing anything that revealed my legs.
Three years ago, at one of the services, Pastor Prince preached about the power of partaking the Holy Communion in faith. Encouraged by that, I started to partake of the Holy Communion daily and decided to let go and trust God for His healing.
I stopped looking at my symptoms and started believing. I do not know when it happened, but my eczema simply disappeared! It has been almost three years now and there isn’t any sign of eczema on my body.
Thank You, Jesus, for your healing. All glory to You!
My GCE A-Level result was not brilliant. When I received them three years ago, I prayed for God to give me a spot anywhere in a local public university.
The applications I sent were all rejected by the public universities and I had to enroll in a private one instead. I felt that the Lord had failed me, and even doubted the truth about His grace that Pastor Prince often preaches about. At that time, it was hard to believe God had a better plan for me.
At that time, I had left the youth ministry and only attended services on Sundays. In my first year of university, I decided to give the youth ministry another shot. At my first youth ministry service, I remembered feeling so welcomed in the Father’s house, and decided to continue attending.
Throughout my three years in university, my results were filled with ups and downs. However, in my final year, I could see the Lord’s hand guiding me through my exams. I felt at peace and at ease. At the end of my university journey, I managed to attain first-class honours!
The beautiful part of this journey was to see the Lord’s faithfulness, which is beyond my comprehension. Had I been in a local university, I might not have returned to the youth ministry and met the people who had prayed and spoken into my life. I have just been so blessed!
To God be the glory!
A few weeks ago, I was crossing the road near my office with a colleague. The traffic light had just turned red and the cars were moving to a stop. The middle lane was not clearly visible to us as there were vehicles in both the first and third lanes.
Suddenly, I felt an urge to pull my colleague back as we were approaching the middle of the crossing. That was when a speeding car zoomed past us at just inches away from us. We were in shock.
We heard loud honks as cars from two opposing traffic lanes tried to avoid the speeding car. Thankfully, no accidents happened that day.
The road which we were crossing was one that we use multiple times a day. We are always mindful of the traffic signals whenever we cross that road as the traffic is heavy around the area. Despite our safety awareness and mindfulness, an awful accident almost happened.
We thank the Lord for His protection. How wonderful it is to know that we are always loved and watched over by the Lord.
