I was born with a defective left eye with scars across my retina. Hence, for 55 years, I could only rely on my right eye to see. My only good eye, however, is highly myopic, and I had also suffered from acute glaucoma in that same eye once.

My eye doctor fears that over time due to severe myopia, my retina, which has become stretched and thinned, will develop scars too, termed myopic degeneration, which could lead to blindness.

I work in an international construction company, and my job requires me to do close-up work on the computer and read construction drawings.

Recently, I suddenly could not see clearly with my right eye. There was a diagonal patch across my visual field, and my vision became so bad that I could not read texts on my phone and laptop, and I could not walk down the stairs because I could not see well. I had to inform two of my colleagues of my situation so they could help me, as I was seeing very little and my eye was in pain.

During this very tough season, I was listening to Pastor Prince’s various sermons on Gospel Partner. In one of his sermons in 2002, he mentioned the higher way is to believe what God said in His Word, just like the centurion who approached Jesus for the healing of his servant. God also led me to meditate on His promises.

Faith arose in my heart as I kept hearing and hearing the Word of Christ. A couple of weeks later, during one of the Sunday services, Pastor Prince prayed for people with eye conditions, and I received the healing for myself.

The next day, I realised the diagonal patch across my visual field was gone. I could read the texts on my devices and even type out this testimony to testify of the amazing miracle of God in my life.

May all praise and glory be to our heavenly Father, and thank you, Pastor Prince, for teaching the Word of God to bless so many people!

My wife and I have been experiencing many right time, right place moments even before the theme was released, just like Pastor Prince shared when he declared 2023 as The Kairos Year Of Right Time, Right Place.

We travelled to Japan during the last two weeks of December 2022. Every day, we would pray and declare that Jesus was with us as our travel companion.

We visited many cities, including Sapporo. The day before we arrived at Sapporo, many train rides were cancelled due to a blizzard. But when we reached, it stopped snowing, and we could take the trains there.

Then, we left for Osaka, where we experienced lots of favour with the people we met and the servers at the restaurants we visited. They gave us freebies and also befriended us despite the language barrier. We even got to dine in places that required reservations to be made months ahead, but there were always seats for us when we walked in due to no-shows by other guests.

Finally, when we returned to Singapore, we learnt that we had boarded one of the last few flights back due to an unexpected closure of the air traffic system. Most of the flights had to be cancelled or make a detour, causing many the passengers to be stranded.

I can’t express how loved we felt on this trip. With Jesus, we get to enjoy the best moments at the right time, right place. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for sharing the theme of the year!

Every year, Pastor Prince would share the theme of the year for the church, and in 2022, it was rest and acceleration. Usually, we will not know exactly how the theme would personally apply to us until we go through the year and realise how it has always been so on-point, and this is my testimony.

In early 2022, I was in London for a school exchange programme. Everything was going as planned until I caught Covid one week before my return to Singapore. It was also the week I had to submit the final assessment for one of my modules, and I could not do so as I became very ill.

It was one of the scariest moments in my life as I was all alone. But my family and friends stood in faith with me and sent me food supplies. I grew stronger by the day and felt restful on the inside. On day seven, I tested negative and could fly home as planned.

Not only so, but by the grace of God, I got an A- for the module for which I did not complete the assessment. I rested, and God accelerated.

Then in late 2022, three weeks into my new school semester, I had to go for surgery to remove my appendix. The Lord had protected me from the get-go as I had been involved in two full days of activities, but my inflamed appendix did not burst. It was only on the third day when the pain got so severe that I decided to visit the emergency unit.

Choosing the surgery was a tough decision as I had to rest for two to three months after that. But my school and work schedules had already been planned out till the end of the year.

On top of that, I was worried that I might not be fit enough to take on specific school modules and that my education awards would be clawed back as a result. But I knew that the Lord would not fail me.

Glory to God, the school's dean proposed a plan where I did not need to stay back for another semester, and he even ensured that my education awards would not be clawed back. Not only so, I was even able to showcase my final project for grading.

I believe that the Lord had made me "rest" mentally and physically through 2022, and He accelerated my grades and work, giving me good bosses who kept me employed throughout my ordeals.

Glory to God, and thank you, Pastor Prince, for letting God use you to remind us of His love.

I used to be a very passionate Christian. However, all that changed after I graduated from university and took over my family business more than 10 years ago.

The industry we are in is very competitive and highly regulated. Our company was struggling, and we were in debt. My family had to sell away properties, and I had no savings after slogging for 10 years. I got bitter towards my family, especially when I compared myself with my friends.

Some years back, a close Christian colleague, who attends New Creation Church, gave me Pastor Prince's book "The Prayer of Protection". However, I never touched the book. Then, one day I felt a tugging on my heart to read it. I also started listening to Pastor Prince's sermons, which changed my perspective of God and my life. I began to see Him moving in my family business and family life. I felt God telling me that He would restore the years I have lost—my finances, time, relationships, and health.

Though things were still challenging, I felt the Lord telling me that I may walk through the fire, but I will not be harmed. I also started reading the book "Live The Let-Go Life" by Pastor Prince. Little did I know that the pandemic would hit and have a big impact on our business. I remember listening to a sermon where Pastor Prince prayed and encouraged the people to be still and know He is God. He also mentioned that God's favour would cause good things to happen to us in an instant.

I held on to this prayer and the sharing in the "Live The Let-Go Life" book by Pastor Prince. I also started to tune in to New Creation Church's online services. In January 2022, Pastor Prince shared that it was The Year Of Rest And Acceleration. I felt that God was speaking to me, as the message tied in with living a let-go life. Hence, I decided to live every day resting in Him and not using my efforts.

During the pandemic, there were many businesses which wound up. However, God saw us through the fire, and we were not harmed. Not only did God sustain our business through government grants, but we also had business partners knocking on our doors.

At the end of 2022, our revenue and cash flow were even more than in pre-pandemic times. I even managed to bring in some side income for myself! Things happened so quickly in the year that I'm amazed. I see blessings all around me and sweet wine pouring off our mountains and hills. Thank You, Jesus. Thank you, Pastor Prince and the New Creation Church team, for sharing the gospel of grace and always pointing us to Jesus.

One morning, I woke up with nausea and excruciating abdominal pain. When the pain persisted for 14 hours, I made a trip to the A&E (accident and emergency department). While waiting at the hospital, I read two praise reports on the Joseph Prince app on healing from abdominal pains to build my faith. After blood tests showed there was inflammation in my body, I was admitted into the hospital. The gynaecology team performed an ultrasound scan and found an obscure shadow in my digestive system.

The surgery team conducted some tests and concluded they would need to perform a keyhole surgery to remove my appendix. A patient within close proximity overheard this and with good intentions, showed me a scar she had from removing a cancerous growth from the very same area I was experiencing pain. She also shared post-surgery tips for a quicker recovery.

Despite the advice to undergo surgery and the discouraging sight of a post-operation scar, I continued to behold Jesus, my bronze serpent. As Jesus was pierced at His side on the cross for me, I firmly believed I did not need to experience the same thing, and I began to experience a shalom-peace I could not explain. I also applied anointing oil to the affected part of my abdomen and the pain supernaturally subsided.

Before the surgery, I had to undergo a prerequisite scan. From reading the praise reports the night before, I was emboldened to request for a computerised tomography (CT) scan of my abdomen to confirm the state of my appendix. I hoped against hope that similar to the praise reports I’d read, my scan would be clear.

When the results were out, they confirmed that all my abdominal organs including my appendix were normal. Hallelujah! I believe the Lord has given me a new appendix, which obviated the need for surgery.

I’m in awe to have experienced healing like those healing testimonies we hear in church every Sunday and to be able to send mine in to testify of medical facts that align with biblical truths. By His stripes, we are healed and truly as Jesus is, so are we in this world!
